Last year I started this little meme more on a whim than anything else, and thought why not give it another outing and so here it is for 2013.
Here are the 6 categories I chose originally. Feel free to use them;
- Six new authors to me;
- Six authors I have read before;
- Six authors I am looking forward to reading more of;
- Six books I have enjoyed the most;
- Six books I was disappointed with;
- Six series of books read or started
My new one for this year
- Six authors I read last year – but not so far this year
Or perhaps chose some of these below, which many readers and bloggers used last year to join in with this meme.

Interesting choices Jo. I love the addition of new categories that people could choose to have in their posts. I decided to stick with the original categories as they worked well for me last year. My post is scheduled for tomorrow!
This is a great idea! I will definitely have to do a post along these lines!
I was hoping you’d do this again. Looking back I’ve read quite differently this year, so I’m planning new categories and a post later in the week.
Great choices and look at that perfect 50 read out of 100, you are right on schedule!
Good to see this meme back again! I’m still trying to decide on my categories and choices but my post should be ready by tomorrow.
I hope you don’t mind, but I have done my own little version of this meme at http://adammstone.wordpress.com/2013/07/03/6-in-6/
I think this is a great idea – and I’ve done my version too – see <a href="http://www.booksplease.org/2013/07/07/sixes-a-selection-from-the-last-six-months-of-reading/"here.
Interesting that you liked The Death of Bees and was disappointed with The Secret Life of Bees. I don’t know either book – the titles just struck me.
I messed up the link – See here.
I’m glad to see this back for another year! I posted mine today:

What a fun idea — I saw it first at Fleur in her World, and it was irresistible. Had to give it a try, as well! I’ve just posted my attempt…
